Alpacas in more than ones years fleece take longer to shear and are harder on equipment. We need to account more time when shearing over fleeced alpacas and additional charges will occur to reflect this
There a numerous safety issues with shearing in the rain or shearing wet alpacas.
If there is no power we will need to provide a generator, there is a charge for this.
We utilise either a van or a ute when coming out to shear, some of the equipment to shear alpacas is bulky and heavy
